Spaghetti with Meatballs

A dish of spaghetti with meaty meatballs and tomato sauce inspired by Italian cuisine, served with fresh salad and cucumber. Delicious!

Ingredients

  • Dried basil: 0.5 teaspoon
  • Fresh basil: 5 g
  • Breadcrumbs: 30 g
  • Onion: 1
  • Lemon: 0.5
  • Black pepper: 1 pinch
  • Red tomato: 600 g
  • Egg: 0.5
  • Spaghetti: 200 g
  • Fresh mint: 2 tablespoons
  • Honey: 4 teaspoons
  • Cucumber: 1
  • Rapeseed oil: 4 tablespoons
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Dried oregano: 1 pinch
  • Tomato paste: 50 g
  • Celery: 125 g
  • Water: 1 liter
  • Ground pork: 320 g
  • Salad mix: 200 g
  • Garlic clove: 1

Preparation

Meatballs:

  1. In a pan, sauté the onion in oil until translucent. Set aside to cool.
  2. Mix the minced meat, sautéed onion, breadcrumbs, and egg thoroughly, then form into meatballs.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet, then fry the meatballs until golden brown.
  4. In a saucepan, lightly brown the minced garlic in oil, then add diced tomatoes, grated celery, and tomato paste. Season with herbs to taste. Simmer for a while until the sauce thickens, then add the prepared meatballs and simmer on low heat for a while.

Spaghetti:

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions.

Salad:

  1. Mix the salad with thinly sliced ​​cucumber, season with basil, and drizzle with olive oil.

How to Serve:

  1. Arrange nests of spaghetti on a plate, fill them with meatballs and sauce, and place the salad around them.
  2. Serve the dish with water infused with lemon, mint, and honey.
