Salmon Tartare with Avocado and Lime

A very quick and easy appetizer to prepare. Instead of traditional beef, salmon fillet works wonderfully for tartare. For variety, add mild avocado and flavorful spring onions.


  • Salmon fillet: 140 grams
  • Avocado: 1 piece
  • Spring onions with chives: 2 pieces
  • Lime: 1 piece
  • Ground black pepper: 3 pinches
  • Canola oil: 1 tablespoon


Finely chop the salmon fillet. Dice the avocado into small cubes, transfer to a bowl, drizzle with lime juice, and add canola oil. Slice the spring onions.

Place a dessert ring on a plate. Fill it with avocado and gently press it down. Then add the salmon and gently press it down as well. Remove the ring.

Top with spring onions and serve with a lime wedge on the side.
