Beef Tartare with Capers

Beef Tartare with Capers

Don’t have time for preparations but craving a delicious snack? Well, I have good news – your problem has just been solved.

  • Beef tenderloin 250 grams
  • Whole capers 50 grams
  • Egg yolks 3 pieces
  • Pickled cucumbers 3 pieces
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Soup and dishes seasoning
  • Oil 5-6 tablespoons
  • Baguette 1 piece
  • Dried Provencal herbs

  1. Grind or finely chop the beef tenderloin twice and transfer it to a bowl. Add 1 egg yolk, salt, freshly ground black pepper, a few drops of liquid seasoning, oil, and mix everything thoroughly with your hands. Finally, add half of the capers and half of the chopped onion and mix everything together.
  2. Form two portions, make an indentation in the middle of each and place an egg yolk in it. Next to it, arrange the toppings: chopped onion, remaining capers, and diced pickled cucumbers.
  3. Slice the baguette. Drizzle each slice with oil, sprinkle with dried Provencal herbs, and lightly fry in a pan until they turn golden brown.
