Healthy doesn’t mean not delicious. On the contrary, this recipe will delight you.
Ingredients
- Oat flakes – 2 cups
- Butter – 150g
- Sugar – 150g
- Eggs – 3
- All-purpose flour – 200g
- Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
- Raisins – 2 tablespoons
- Dried cranberries – 2 tablespoons
- Chopped nuts – 2-3 tablespoons
Preparation
- Melt the butter in a saucepan.
- Add sugar and oat flakes to the melted butter, mix well.
- Toast the flakes until golden brown, stirring constantly to prevent burning. Let them cool slightly.
- To the slightly cooled flakes, add cranberries and raisins.
- Add flour, nuts, eggs, and baking powder to the flakes, then knead the dough by hand.
- Immediately after mixing, form the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet, lightly flattening each cookie. Optionally, place a piece of walnut on each cookie or sprinkle with oat flakes.
- Bake 2 trays at once at 150°C in a convection oven for about 20 minutes.
