Toasted Baskets with Mushrooms, Bacon, and Egg

Instead of ordinary toast, try our baked baskets filled with delicious stuffing.


  • eggs: 8 pieces
  • smoked bacon: 40 g
  • toast bread: 160 g
  • butter: 1 tablespoon
  • butter: 1 tablespoon
  • mushrooms: 200 g
  • black pepper: a pinch
  • parsley: 2 tablespoons
  • salt: a pinch


Grease 4 cavities in a muffin tin with butter. Remove the crust from each slice of toast bread. Place a slightly flattened slice of bread into each cavity of the muffin tin, forming a basket.

Dice the mushrooms, sauté them, season with parsley, salt, and pepper.

Into each bread basket, place half a slice of bacon, sautéed mushrooms, and crack one egg (or just the yolk) into each. Season with salt and pepper.

Bake for 15-20 minutes.
