Ingredients – dough

  • Wheat flour – 500g
  • Milk – 250ml
  • Butter – 100g
  • Sugar – 75g
  • Eggs – 2 pieces
  • Dried yeast – 7g
  • Salt – 2g
  • Oil – 3 liters
  • Powdered sugar – 150g

Ingredients – rose confiture

  • Rose petals – 250g
  • Sugar – 250g
  • Lemon – 1 piece

Preparation

Soak the collected rose petals to remove any impurities. Rinse them in cold water, then drain and dry on a towel. Squeeze the lemon juice and strain it thoroughly. In a saucepan, combine lemon juice and sugar. Add rose petals to the lemon juice and sugar mixture, then stir. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. After a dozen minutes, the petals will soften, releasing their color, flavor, and aroma.

Allow the cooked confiture to cool, then transfer it to a jar or other clean container. Do not fill the donuts with warm confiture!m. In a saucepan, heat milk with sugar and butter. Stir until the ingredients combine into a uniform mixture. In a bowl, mix flour, instant yeast, and salt. Stir. Add eggs to the bowl with flour and mix thoroughly.

Start slowly pouring warm milk along with melted butter and sugar into the bowl, stirring constantly. Keep stirring until the dough becomes elastic. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rise for about 2 hours. During this time, the dough should double in volume. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1.5-2 cm and cut out circles.

Place the cut-out circles on a baking sheet, cover with a cloth, and allow them to rise again (about 30 minutes). Heat the oil in a pot (or deep fryer) to a minimum temperature of 170 degrees C. Then gently place portions of dough into the hot oil. Fry the donuts on both sides until golden brown.

Fill a syringe with confiture and start filling the donuts by inserting it into the center for 3-4 cm. Try to fill the donuts continuously while they are still hot.

Set aside the finished, filled donuts to cool. Once the dough is cool, you can proceed to decorate the donuts with powdered sugar sifted through a sieve.
