Apple Chutney with Beer

A unique sauce made from apples with the addition of dark beer is a great accompaniment to meats or roasted vegetables. See how easy it is to make!


  • White wine vinegar – 200 ml
  • Dark beer – 100 ml
  • Sugar – 200 g
  • Red apples – 2 pieces


In a saucepan, bring sugar and vinegar to a boil. Simmer for several minutes until the liquid thickens. Add the beer to the chutney base and simmer to reduce the sauce.

Peel and finely dice the apples, then add them to the sauce. Cook for another 5-8 minutes. Transfer the finished chutney to a jar.
