Indian Salmon in Sweet and Sour Sauce

Experience the aromatic spices, basmati rice, and naan bread – indulge in the flavors of Indian cuisine!

Ingredients

  • White onion – 2 pieces
  • Red onion – 2 pieces
  • Naan bread – 4 pieces
  • Curry powder – 1 pinch
  • Garlic clove – 1 piece
  • Fresh ginger – 2 pieces
  • Whole cumin – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground turmeric – 1 pinch
  • Lime – 1 piece
  • Salmon fillet, skinless – 2 pieces
  • Butter – 30 g
  • Parsley – 20 g
  • Olive oil – 20 ml
  • Red bell pepper – 1 piece
  • Green bell pepper – 1 piece
  • Yellow bell pepper – 1 piece
  • Red tomato – 5 pieces
  • Basmati rice – 200 g
  • Yellow curry paste – 400 g
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • 30% cream – 200 ml

Preparation

Step 1: Sautéing the Spices Indian-style Salmon – Sautéing the spices

In heated olive oil, sauté finely chopped garlic and grated ginger. Add a pinch of whole cumin.

Step 2: Simmering the Sauce Ingredients Then, add chopped onions and peeled tomatoes. Sauté all the ingredients. Pour in curry sauce, tikka masala, or korma. Season to taste with salt, pepper, turmeric, and curry.

Step 3: Thickening the Sauce Add diced butter and cream to the sauce.

Dice the bell peppers into large pieces and add them to the sauce.

Remove the salmon fillet skin and cut it into large cubes. Add the fish pieces to the sauce. Cook for about 10 minutes.
