Hot Dogs with Frankfurters

Surprising hot dogs with grilled frankfurters. Next to such crispy delights, it’s hard to remain indifferent, so grab your pans or grills and let’s get cooking!

Ingredients

  • Premium ham frankfurters – 4 pcs.
  • Baguettes – 2 pcs.
  • Ketchup – 4 tablespoons
  • Mini gherkin pickles – 12 pcs.
  • Fried onion flakes – 4 tablespoons

Preparation

Grill the frankfurters and baguettes. Cut the baguettes into two equal parts. Then, slit them lengthwise to create a pocket. Grill the prepared baguettes along with the frankfurters on each side for about 3 minutes on a grill pan or a preheated grill.

Assemble the hot dogs. Stuff the baguettes with the frankfurters, then spread ketchup on them. Cut the gherkin pickles into smaller pieces and place them on top of the ketchup layer. Sprinkle the prepared hot dogs with fried onion flakes.
