Herring Tartare

A recipe for herring tartare, accompanied by pickled cucumber, hard-boiled eggs, and red onion. A perfect recipe for any party.

Ingredients

  • Herring fillets – 4 pieces
  • Bread – 3-4 slices
  • Pickled cucumber – 2-3 pieces
  • Red onion – 1 piece
  • Hard-boiled eggs – 2 pieces
  • Parsley – 2-3 sprigs
  • French mustard – 1 teaspoon
  • Chives – 1 teaspoon
  • Marinated porcini mushrooms – 6-8 pieces
  • Fresh dill – 1-2 sprigs
  • Oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Mixed colored pepper – 1 teaspoon
  • Universal seasoning – 1 teaspoon

For decoration

  • Fresh dill
  • Olive oil
  • Red onion

Preparation

Chop the herring fillets into small pieces. Dice the pickled cucumber, red onion, and porcini mushrooms into small cubes. Season with freshly ground mixed colored pepper.

Add finely chopped parsley, fresh chives, French mustard, dill, and oil. Mix all the ingredients well. Use a ring mold to layer all the ingredients. Cut circles from the bread slices and arrange them at the bottom.

Finally, decorate the plate with mushroom caps, red onion rings, and fresh dill. Drizzle with olive oil.
