Grilled Hamburgers

Grilled hamburgers are a treat for any meat lover and burger enthusiast. Check out how to prepare juicy meat for grilled burgers and which ingredients are best paired with them in a crunchy bun.

Ingredients

For the patties:

  • Beef sirloin steak: 800 grams
  • Dried onion: 2 tablespoons
  • Sarepska mustard: 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce: 1 teaspoon
  • Balsamic vinegar: 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic: 2-3 cloves
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Coarse iodized sea salt, to taste

Additionally:

  • Hamburger buns: 5 pieces
  • Lettuce: 5 leaves
  • Smoked bacon: 5 slices
  • Yellow cheese: 5 slices
  • Pickles: 3-4 pieces
  • Tomato: 2 pieces
  • Red onion: 1 piece
  • Sarepska mustard: 5 teaspoons

Preparation

  1. Preparation of ingredients: Slice the onion, pickles, and tomato. Place the bacon slices on the grill for a few minutes until crispy to make bacon. Be cautious if grilling bacon on a charcoal grill! It releases a lot of fat, which can cause flare-ups.
  2. Preparing the meat for burgers: Grind the meat with garlic in a grinder. Add mustard, dried onion, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, water, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Knead for a few minutes. Shape the meat into 5 flat patties, grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side. Finally, place a slice of cheese on each patty.
  3. It’s most convenient to buy hamburger buns at the store, but if you have time to prepare them at home, definitely try this recipe: HOMEMADE HAMBURGER BUNS.
  4. Cut the buns in half and toast them briefly on the grill. Spread mustard on the bottom buns, then add lettuce, patties, bacon, tomato, pickles, and onion. Cover with the top buns, spread with mustard on the bottom side.
