Chicken Ham from a Ham Cooker

Delicate chicken ham gains character thanks to carefully selected spices. Prepare it in a ham cooker and see how it tastes!

Ingredients

For the Meat Marinade:

  • Chicken breast fillets – 1 kg
  • Hot paprika powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Sweet paprika powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Oil – 3 tablespoons
  • Black pepper – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon

Additional:

  • Water – 100 ml
  • Gelatin – 25 g

Preparation

Step 1: Add Gelatin Mix gelatin with water and add it to the marinated meat. Mix everything and transfer it to a bag. Press the meat well to remove any excess air from the bag.

Step 2: Cook the Meat in the Ham Cooker Place the meat into the ham cooker, put on the lid, and tightly seal the container. Put the ham cooker into a larger pot and pour water so that its level reaches slightly above the meat in the ham cooker. Cook for about 2 hours, maintaining the water temperature between 80-90°C. When the water reaches 80°C, reduce the heat.

When the meat reaches a temperature of 69-75°C (depending on the type of meat), it is ready.

Step 3: Cool the Meat Remove the ham cooker from the pot and let it cool down. Once it’s cold, place it in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight. After this time, take out the meat and slice it thinly.
