Toasts with Roasted Cherry Tomatoes

A simple yet delicious snack for any season and any time of day!


  • Cherry tomatoes, about 300 g
  • Goat cheese roll, about 200 g
  • Bread (e.g., sourdough, ciabatta)
  • Garlic clove, 1
  • Dried oregano, 1 teaspoon
  • Dried thyme, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Extra virgin olive oil, 2 tablespoons
  • Honey, 1/2 teaspoon


Preheat the oven with the grill function or to 230°C.

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Spread them on a baking dish, season with salt, pepper, oregano, and pressed garlic. Drizzle with half of the olive oil and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes.

Slice the bread, top with the roasted tomatoes and slices of goat cheese. Sprinkle with thyme, drizzle with the remaining olive oil and honey. Place back in the oven and bake for another 3 minutes.
