Burger with zander

An original way to make homemade burgers. With fish and caper mayonnaise sauce, they will surprise any sandwich fan!


  • Capers: 3 tablespoons
  • Mayonnaise: 4 tablespoons
  • Butter: 2 tablespoons
  • Rapeseed oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Hot paprika powder: 0.5 teaspoon
  • Parsley: 1 tablespoon
  • Iceberg lettuce: 320 g
  • Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt: a pinch
  • Zander: 4 pieces
  • Wheat flour: 4 tablespoons
  • Ciabatta: 4 pieces


Mix mayonnaise, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and chopped capers together and set aside. Rinse and pat dry the fish fillets. Coat them in flour mixed with salt and hot paprika. Shake off excess flour.

Heat butter and rapeseed oil in a pan. Fry the fish for a few minutes on each side. Slice the ciabatta rolls horizontally. Spread some sauce on the bottom part, then place 2 lettuce leaves and 1 fried fish fillet on each. Top with a bit of sauce and cover with the other half of the roll.
