Appetizer with Burrata

As an appetizer, served with bread or as one of the snacks on the table. An Italian recipe that cannot be overlooked.

Ingredients:

  • 2 balls of burrata in brine
  • 150 g dried ham or aged Italian cured meats
  • Several apricots
  • A handful of blueberries or cherries or raspberries
  • 1 tomato
  • Basil and mint
  • Extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, bread

Preparation:

Arrange the ingredients on a rectangular or square plate in the following order: diced apricots and mint leaves, pieces of burrata, blueberries or halved and pitted cherries or raspberries, and more mint leaves. Next, alternate slices of ham with basil leaves, followed again by burrata and diced tomatoes. Season the tomatoes with salt from a mill. Finish by generously grinding black pepper over everything and drizzling with extra virgin olive oil.
