Ingredients
- Wheat flour – 130 g
- Eggs – 2 pieces
- Water – 3 tablespoons
- Baking powder – 2 teaspoons
- Coriander – 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce – 1 cup
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
- Onions – 4 pieces
Preparation
- Mix the flour with the baking powder and spices, add salt, eggs, and water, beat until you get a thick, smooth batter. Slice the onions into thin half-slices and add them to the batter.
- Heat a thick layer of oil for deep frying. Spoon the onion batter into the oil and fry until golden brown.
- Serve with the sauce poured into a bowl.
