Ingredients

  • Lime – 1 piece
  • Fresh dill – 12.5 g
  • Smoked salmon – 300 g
  • Arugula – 40 g
  • Horseradish cream cheese – 270 g
  • Pistachios – 30 g
  • Sun-dried tomatoes – 4 pieces
  • Chives – 5 tablespoons
  • Balsamic vinegar – 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper – 1 pinch
  • Salt – 1 pinch

Preparation

Step 1: Prepare the Filling Transfer crushed pistachios and finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes to a bowl. Add some chopped dill and chives, and horseradish cream cheese. Mix well. Add pepper, salt, and a small amount of lime zest.

Step 2: Stuff and Roll the Cigars Spread chopped dill and chives on plastic wrap, arrange 2 large slices of smoked salmon. Brush them with lime juice, sprinkle with dill and chives again, and season with pepper. Using a pastry bag, pipe the filling onto the salmon, and place a few arugula leaves on top. Roll tightly, wrap in plastic wrap (you should get 6 rolls), and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Serve the Cigars Next, arrange arugula on a plate, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Cut the cigars diagonally in half and arrange on the plate, finally drizzle with lime juice.
