Shrimp Tortilla

A tasty and easy-to-make idea for dinner – shrimp tortilla with pink mayonnaise sauce.

Ingredients

Pink Mayonnaise Sauce

  • Fresh basil – 5 g
  • Garlic clove – 1 pc.
  • Ketchup – 4 tbsp
  • Lime – 0.5 pc.
  • Mayonnaise – 4 tbsp

Shrimp

  • White wine – 100 ml
  • Lemon – 0.5 pc.
  • Garlic cloves – 2 pcs.
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper – 1 pinch
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Shrimp – 16 pcs.

Tortilla

  • Avocado – 1 pc.
  • Red bell pepper – 1 pc.
  • Cherry tomatoes – 5 pcs.
  • Tortilla – 4 pcs.
  • Iceberg lettuce – 0.5 pc.

Preparation

Pink Mayonnaise Sauce Press the garlic through a press, chop the basil, and squeeze the juice from the lime. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce thoroughly. You can add any chopped herbs, although the sauce will be great even without them.

Shrimp Mash the garlic cloves with a knife. Fry the garlic and shrimp, peeled, washed, and dried with a paper towel, in heated olive oil (fry the shrimp for about 2 minutes). Pour in the wine, season with salt and pepper, add lemon juice. Fry for another 3 minutes.

Tortilla Lightly heat the tortillas on a pan, then spread a thin layer of mayonnaise sauce. Grill the bell pepper, peel off the skin, and cut into strips. On half of the tortilla, spread sliced lettuce, strips of grilled bell pepper, shrimp drained from the sauce they were fried in, avocado cut into strips, and halved cherry tomatoes. Pour the contents of the tortilla with pink sauce and roll it up.
