Burrata Caprese Salad


Burrata Caprese Salad is a celebration of simple, fresh ingredients. This recipe combines the creaminess of Burrata cheese, the juiciness of ripe tomatoes and the aromatic freshness of basil.


  • burrata cheese
  • sun-dried tomatoes
  • fresh basil leaves
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • balsamic vinegar
  • table salt
  • coarsely ground pepper

Method of preparation:

Slice the tomatoes into ⅓ inch thick slices.

Arrange the sliced tomatoes on a large platter.

Season with salt and pepper.

Break the burrata open, tear into bite-sized pieces and place on top of the tomatoes.

Sprinkle the fresh basil leaves over the cheese and tomatoes.

Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Add a final sprinkling of flaky salt for a nice salty crunch.
