Japanese Shrimp Salad

Seafood with a new twist. Delicious salad straight from Tokyo.

Ingredients

  • 5 shrimp
  • a handful of mixed greens with arugula
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 fresh cucumber
  • 1/3 kohlrabi
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream (30% fat)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • chives

Preparation

Steam the shrimp. Peel and cut the carrot, kohlrabi, and cucumber into sticks. Halve the avocado, peel it, and slice it. Arrange chopped greens on plates, add avocado, carrot, cucumber, and shrimp. Mix heavy cream and soy sauce, drizzle over the salad. Sprinkle with chopped chives.
