Healthy Cocoa Banana Cake with Beans

  • Red beans – 1 can
  • Eggs – 2
  • Cocoa powder – 2 tablespoons
  • Banana – 1
  • Baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground flaxseed – 1 tablespoon
  • Liquid honey – 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla extract – a few drops


  • Coconut oil – 3 tablespoons
  • Water – 3 tablespoons
  • Cocoa powder – 2 tablespoons
  • Brown sugar – 1 tablespoon


  1. Rinse the beans in a sieve. Then blend them with the remaining ingredients until smooth consistency is achieved. Pour the batter into a small loaf pan lined with parchment paper, then place it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.
  2. After baking the cake, remove it from the mold by grabbing the parchment paper and transferring it onto a wire rack to cool.
  3. Put all the ingredients for the glaze into a small saucepan and mix until it boils. Then remove from the heat and pour the still hot glaze over the cake.
