Grilling snow crab legs

Grilling snow crab legs

For a gourmet dish, this recipe is surprisingly easy to prepare. Even if you’re new to grilling, you’ll find the instructions straightforward and easy to follow. Crab is a great source of lean protein and contains a number of essential nutrients, including vitamin B12 and zinc. It’s a delicious way to keep your diet balanced.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 5lbs of crab legs (enough for 4 people or you can adjust)
  • more melted butter (to serve)

Method of preparation:

Before you start grilling, make sure your crab legs are fully defrosted. This can take several hours in the fridge, so plan ahead.

Preheat your barbecue to medium heat, around 375°F. Brush the grates with oil to prevent sticking.

Brush the crab legs with the melted butter and season with the garlic powder.

Place the crab legs on the barbecue, shell side down. Grill for 4-5 minutes, then turn and grill for a further 4-5 minutes. The crab legs should be cooked through and lightly charred.

Serve and enjoy! Remove the crab legs from the barbecue and serve hot. Serve with more melted butter for dipping.
