Bacon, sausage, onion, and a perfectly selected blend of spices – that’s the recipe for successful grill skewers.
Ingredients
- onion: 3 pieces
- Sausages: 400 g
- smoked bacon: 150 g
- marjoram: 1 teaspoon
- mixed salad greens: 150 g
- wine vinegar: 1 tablespoon
- olive oil: 3 tablespoons
- hot paprika: 0.5 teaspoon
- black pepper: a pinch
- sweet paprika: 1 teaspoon
- salt: a pinch
Preparation
Cut the sausage into thicker slices. Cut the bacon into larger cubes. Peel the onions and cut them into pieces similar in size to the sausage slices.
Soak wooden skewers in cold water for at least an hour. Thread onto them alternately: sausage, bacon, onion.
Sprinkle the skewers with the spice blend and place them on the grill. Grill until the bacon and sausage are browned.
Prepare a vinaigrette dressing: Pour wine vinegar into a bowl and add salt. Stir until the salt dissolves, then add olive oil. Mix until the ingredients are combined, and season with freshly ground black pepper.
Serving
Serve with mixed salad greens and vinaigrette dressing.
