Ingredients:
- 2lb salmon steaks
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons red wine
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 4 sprigs fresh parsley, to garnish
- 4 slices lemon, to garnish
Method of preparation:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, red wine, ground ginger and black pepper.
Place the salmon steaks in a shallow dish and pour over the marinade.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for a deeper flavour.
Preheat the barbecue to high heat.
Lightly oil the grid.
Place the marinated salmon steaks on the barbecue.
Cook for 6 to 8 minutes per side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Transfer the grilled salmon to serving plates.
