Grilled Beef Steak with Light Salad

Grilled Beef Steak with Light Salad

Grilled beef steak is a true feast for all meat lovers! To add a bit of lightness to the dish, I recommend serving it with a salad.

Ingredients

Steak:

  • Beef steak: 1 piece
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Butter: 1 teaspoon
  • Coarse iodized sea salt (Prymat): to taste
  • Cherry tomatoes (yellow): 8 pieces
  • Tomato: 2 pieces
  • Red bell pepper: 1/4 piece
  • Cucumber: 1/4 piece
  • Black olives: 2 tablespoons
  • Oil: 3 tablespoons
  • Water: 1/2 tablespoon
  • Coarse iodized sea salt: to taste
  • Delicatessen mustard: 1 teaspoon
  • Honey: 1 teaspoon
  • Balsamic vinegar: 1 teaspoon
  • Mixed salad: 1/2 package
  • Ground black pepper: to taste

Preparation

Steak:

  1. Wash the steak and pat it dry with paper towels. Rub it with olive oil and generously season with freshly ground black pepper. Place the steak on a well-heated grill, electric grill, or grill pan.
  2. Cook for 2 minutes on each side (for rare steak), 3 minutes (for medium-rare steak), or 4 minutes (for well-done steak).
  3. Transfer the cooked steak to a plate, season with salt, and top with butter. Let it rest for 2-3 minutes.

Salad:

  1. Combine the dressing ingredients. Arrange the salad on a plate, add sliced tomatoes, cucumber slices, bell pepper strips, and olives. Drizzle the salad with the dressing.
