French Toast with Caramelized Fruits

Sweet toast? The perfect dessert! Try the combination of whole grain bread with chocolate and caramelized fruits.


French Toast

  • Powdered sugar, 0.5 teaspoon
  • Vanilla sugar, 1 packet
  • Cinnamon, 2 pinches
  • Eggs, 2
  • Coconut oil, 1 tablespoon
  • Multigrain toast bread, 160 g
  • Heavy cream (12%), 100 ml

Caramelized Apricots or Peaches

  • Brown sugar, 2 tablespoons
  • Apricots, 400 g
  • Coconut oil, 0.5 tablespoon
  • Orange juice, 100 ml

Chocolate Cream

  • Dark chocolate, 100 g
  • Milk chocolate, 100 g
  • Heavy cream (12%), 100 ml


  • Pistachios, 20 g


Step 1: Fry the Toasts Mix together the heavy cream, eggs, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon. Soak the multigrain bread slices in this mixture and fry them on both sides until golden brown in a pan with coconut oil. Place the fried toasts on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

Step 2: Caramelize the Fruits Caramelize the sugar in a dry pan. Add the washed and sliced apricots or peaches. Caramelize for a minute. Add the orange juice and coconut oil. Caramelize the fruits on both sides.

Step 3: Prepare the Chocolate Cream Bring the heavy cream to a boil. Add the chopped chocolates and stir until melted. The cream should have a smooth consistency.

Step 4: Serve the Toasts Serve the toasts with the chocolate cream and hot caramelized fruits. Decorate with pistachios.
