Delicate Cod Fillets

Cod fillets from the oven are a unique way to prepare this fish. Butter adds delicacy to the dish, while lemon perfectly enhances the flavor. Delicate cod fillets are a great idea for lunch or dinner. They taste great served with a salad mix or fries.


  • Cod fillets: 2 pieces
  • Fine-grained iodized sea salt: 2 pinches
  • Ground black pepper: 1 pinch
  • Seafood seasoning: 1 teaspoon
  • Butter: 2 pieces
  • Lemon: 1 piece
  • Garlic: 2-3 cloves


  1. Rinse and pat dry the cod fillets. Place them on a baking sheet, drizzle with lemon juice, and rub with salt, pepper, and seafood seasoning.
  2. Place a thick slice of butter on each piece.
  3. Place a slice of lemon on top of each fillet, and arrange a few slices of garlic next to it.
  4. Fold the fillets and place them in a baking dish. It’s best to refrigerate the fish before baking to let the spices infuse.
  5. Place in a preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Serve, for example, on a salad mix.
