Oriental Fish Patties

Exquisite fish straight from the Far East. Introduce oriental flavors to your kitchen.


  • Cod fillet: 500 g
  • Fish sauce: 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
  • Egg: 1 large
  • Chopped cilantro: 1 handful
  • Red curry paste: 1 tablespoon
  • Chili pepper: 1/2 piece
  • Garlic cloves: 2 pieces
  • Grated ginger: 1 teaspoon
  • Lime juice: 1/2 piece
  • Lime zest: 1 teaspoon
  • Spring onions with chives: 4 pieces
  • Chopped chives: 4 tablespoons
  • Cooking oil


  1. Clean the fish and place it in a food processor bowl. Blend for a few seconds until smooth. Add the egg, fish sauce, soy sauce, cilantro, curry paste, finely chopped chili pepper, ginger, garlic, lime juice, and lime zest. Blend again until all ingredients are combined.
  2. Transfer the fish mixture to a bowl and add finely chopped spring onions and chives. Mix thoroughly. With wet hands, form small, flat patties (you should get about 10 patties from the given portion).
  3. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the patties on both sides until golden brown.
  4. Serve the oriental fish patties with sweet chili sauce, for example.
