Cinnamon apple chips

Ingredients

  • Sugar – 1 tablespoon
  • Cinnamon – 1 tablespoon
  • Ground nutmeg – a pinch
  • Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Red apples – 2

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 120 degrees Celsius. In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon, sugar, and a pinch of ground nutmeg. Remove the tops and bottoms of the apples, then slice them into thin slices using a grater or peeler. Drizzle the lemon juice over the apple slices. Arrange the apple slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle a bit of the spice mixture onto each slice and rub it into the apple slices with your fingers.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 40-90 minutes, depending on how thick the apple slices are and how crispy you want the chips to be.
