Chocolate Strawberry Tart

Expecting guests? Prepare a sweet French tart! The combination of chocolate and strawberries will surely delight them.

Ingredients

  • Eggs, 2 pieces
  • Sugar, 3 tablespoons
  • Vanilla sugar, 1 tablespoon
  • Dark chocolate, 150g
  • Milk chocolate, 100g
  • Biscuits, 200g
  • Butter, 5 tablespoons
  • Salt, 1 pinch
  • Heavy cream (30%), 350g
  • Strawberries, 400g

Preparation

Crush the biscuits and transfer them to a blender. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and the melted butter, then blend everything together. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a tart pan (about 25 cm in diameter) and bake at 180°C for about 10 minutes.

In a saucepan, pour in 300g of heavy cream. Add the remaining sugar and vanilla sugar, then bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and add the milk chocolate and 100g of dark chocolate broken into small pieces. Stir until completely melted.

Beat the eggs with salt until fluffy. Add them to the chocolate mixture and stir. Pour the mixture over the pre-baked crust and bake at 180°C for about 25 minutes. Let the tart cool.

Place the remaining chocolate and cream in a bowl over a double boiler and gently stir until completely melted. Pour the chocolate over the tart and decorate with strawberries. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
