Carrot Crust Pizza

Classic pizza with salami on a unique crust made of grated carrots! It’s a great idea for a special dinner that will even encourage the youngest to eat an extra portion of vegetables.


  • Carrot – 2 pieces
  • Egg – 1 piece
  • Ground smoked paprika – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Wheat flour – 30 g
  • Oat flakes – 20 g
  • Tomato sauce – 2 tablespoons
  • Grated mozzarella – 30 g
  • Salami sausage – 5 slices
  • Olive oil – 5 g


Step 1: Prepare the Carrot Crust Peel and grate the carrots using a fine grater. Add the egg, smoked paprika, salt, flour, and oat flakes, then mix everything thoroughly.

Step 2: Fry the Carrot Crust Transfer the prepared mixture onto a heated skillet greased with olive oil. Fry the crust until golden brown on both sides, covered, over low heat.

Step 3: Heat Up the Pizza Spread tomato sauce over the fried crust, sprinkle with mozzarella, and arrange the salami slices. Fry the prepared pizza for an additional 3-4 minutes, covered, until the cheese melts.
