Braided Chicken Stuffed Puff Pastry

An excellent breakfast snack. With this, your day will instantly get better.


  • Puff pastry: 1 package
  • Chicken breast fillet: 1 piece
  • Broccoli: 1 piece
  • Cheddar cheese: 100 grams
  • Parsley: 1 bunch
  • Egg: 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper
  • Oil for frying


  1. Spread the pastry on a baking sheet (on parchment paper or the paper it was wrapped in – though it tends to burn a bit!).
  2. Cut the broccoli into small florets and boil in lightly salted water for about 5 minutes.
  3. Dice the chicken breast (or cut into strips as desired) and fry in oil. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread ketchup on the center of the pastry (a strip about 1/3 of the pastry width). Place broccoli and chicken on this strip and sprinkle with ground black pepper.
  5. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top – as much as you like 😀 Then sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  6. Cut the sides of the pastry into strips and fold them alternately over the filling to create an attractive braid 🙂
  7. Beat the egg with a fork and brush the top of our braid with it.
  8. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius for about 15-17 minutes.
