Beef Burger with Asparagus

A delicious fast food dish you simply must try.


  • 2 burger patties
  • 10 thin and small asparagus spears or 6 larger ones, steamed
  • small bunch of young beet greens, rinsed and dried

Green Salsa:

  • 1 – 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons thinly sliced chives
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons chopped basil
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons chopped mint
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons chopped tarragon
  • 2 tablespoons drained and chopped capers
  • 1/3 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil + more to taste
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Thinly sliced chives, for decoration


Prepare the burger patties. Prepare the green salsa by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl; season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper just before serving.

Divide the steamed asparagus and beet greens between deep plates. Place the burger patties on top. Drizzle with the green salsa, seasoned with salt and pepper at the last minute. Garnish with thinly sliced chives.
