Roasted pumpkin

What we love about pumpkin is its wonderful optimistic colour. However, it also has a remarkable delicate flavor. So it is suitable for many dishes. Vegetarians especially like it. After all, the vegetable has plenty of vitamins and can be made into a great snack for any occasion.


  • 1 medium-sized pumpkin
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 6 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • fresh parsley
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • spices

Method of preparation:

First, the pumpkin needs to be peeled. It has a thick skin, so you should use a short sharp and strong knife.

Next, we cut the pumpkin into thick cubes. Now we need to mix it with breadcrumbs, honey, oil and favourite spices.

Then we put it into an ovenproof dish. We need to cover it with aluminum foil. Now we put it in the oven preheated to 180°C. We bake for about 30 minutes.

Then we need to remove the foil. Now we bake the pumpkin for another 15 minutes. Only then it will be baked on top.

Thus prepared pumpkin can be a snack or one of the ingredients of a vegetarian dinner.
