Apple chutney with cinnamon

Chutney with the addition of aromatic ginger and cinnamon will be a great complement to meats or vegetables marinated in a more oriental style. Be sure to try preparing this extraordinary sauce!


  • White wine vinegar: 200 ml
  • Onion: 1 piece
  • Sugar: 200 g
  • Cloves: a pinch
  • Red apple: 2 pieces
  • Fresh ginger: 1 piece
  • Cinnamon stick: 3 g
  • Curry powder: a pinch


In a saucepan, bring sugar and vinegar to a boil. Cook for several minutes until the liquid thickens. Then add cinnamon sticks, a few cloves, peeled and sliced ginger, and a pinch of curry powder. After a few minutes, add peeled and diced apples, and shortly after, add onions diced into uniform cubes. Cook for another 5-8 minutes. Transfer the finished chutney to a jar.
