Indian Spice Salt

Prepare a versatile spice blend for Indian dishes right in your own home!

Ingredients

  • Cloves – 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds – 0.5 tablespoon
  • Coriander seeds – 1 tablespoon
  • Whole black peppercorns – 1 tablespoon
  • Sea salt – 100 g

Preparation

Step 1: Toast the Spices Toast coriander, cumin seeds, and cloves in a dry pan until fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool.

Step 2: Grind the Spices Grind the toasted spices along with the peppercorns to a coarse powder in a mortar and pestle. Mix with salt and transfer to clean, dry, small jars or spice mills. Seal tightly.
