An original way to make homemade burgers. With fish and a mayonnaise caper sauce, it will surprise any sandwich fan!
Ingredients
- Capers – 3 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise – 4 tablespoons
- Butter – 2 tablespoons
- Rapeseed oil – 2 tablespoons
- Hot paprika – 0.5 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley – 1 tablespoon
- Iceberg lettuce – 320 g
- Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
- Salt – 1 pinch
- Zander fillet – 4 pieces
- Wheat flour – 4 tablespoons
- Ciabatta – 4 pieces
Preparation
Mix mayonnaise, parsley, lemon juice, and chopped capers together and set aside. Wash and dry the fillets, then coat them in flour mixed with salt and hot paprika. Shake off any excess flour. Heat butter and rapeseed oil in a pan. Fry the fish on both sides for a few minutes until golden brown.
Cut the ciabatta rolls in half horizontally. Spread some sauce on the bottom halves, place 2 leaves of iceberg lettuce on each, followed by a fried fillet. Add a bit more sauce on top of the fish and cover with the top halves of the ciabatta rolls.
