Ingredients:
- All-purpose flour, 250 g
- Baking powder, 2 teaspoons
- Butter, 80 g
- Egg, 3 pieces
- 3.2% Milk, 400 ml
- Salt, 1 pinch
- Parsley, 2 tablespoons
- Morbier cheese, 150 g
- La brique cheese, 150 g
Preparation:
Step 1: Prepare the Filling Grate the Morbier cheese using a grater with large holes, and finely chop the La brique cheese. Transfer them to a bowl and add the chopped parsley.
Step 2: Prepare the Batter Whisk the eggs until fluffy, gradually adding the melted and cooled butter to them (continuing to whisk the eggs throughout). Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt through a sieve with fine holes. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, alternating with milk, while continuously whisking. Transfer the finished batter to the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Step 3: Bake the Waffles Pour portions of the batter onto a preheated waffle iron. Bake each waffle for about 3-4 minutes until it turns golden brown.
Step 4: Assemble the Sandwiches Spread the cheese and parsley mixture onto half of the waffles. Cover each spread waffle with another waffle. Warm the resulting sandwiches in the waffle iron for about 30 seconds.
