Venison Rib in Hunter's Spice and Wine

Ingredients

  • Venison ribs, 500 g
  • Dry red wine, 3/4 cup
  • Hunter’s spice blend
  • Ground black pepper
  • Ground herb pepper
  • Cooking oil

Preparation

  1. Portion the ribs and cook until tender.
  2. Once cooled, rub the meat with hunter’s spice blend, black pepper, and herb pepper.
  3. Sear the ribs in a pan for a few minutes on each side.
  4. Transfer the meat to a larger pot, pour in the wine, and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. Best served with roasted potatoes and gravy.
