Avocado and Turkey Wrap

  • 1 large tortilla wrap
  • 1/2 ripe avocado, mashed
  • 2 slices of turkey breast (or your favourite deli meat)
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 slices of tomato
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation:

Lay the tortilla wrap flat on a clean surface.

Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.

Place the turkey slices on top of the mashed avocado.

Layer the shredded lettuce and tomato slices on top of the turkey.

Drizzle the mayonnaise or Greek yogurt over the lettuce and tomato.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Carefully roll up the tortilla, tucking in the sides as you go, to form a wrap.

Slice the wrap in half diagonally, if desired, and serve immediately.
