Tomato Chicken Skillet Dinner

A simple idea for a quick skillet dinner. All you need is chicken and a few basic ingredients to prepare a delicious feast.


  • Pasta: 250 grams
  • Double chicken fillet: 1 piece
  • Sunflower seeds: 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper: to taste
  • Cooking oil
  • Mustard: 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce: 1-2 tablespoons
  • Dried basil: 0.5 teaspoon
  • Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  • Sun-dried tomatoes (in oil): 150 grams


  1. Cut the tomatoes into strips. Cut the chicken fillet into cubes. Season with freshly ground black pepper and salt. Fry the seasoned chicken in a pan with cooking oil until tender.
  2. Once tender, add the tomatoes and sauté together for a while.
  3. Meanwhile, toast the sunflower seeds in a dry pan.
  4. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain.
  5. Mix mustard, ketchup, soy sauce, and basil together. Add the prepared sauce to the sautéed chicken.
  6. Finally, add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Mix everything well and it’s ready. Before serving, sprinkle the dish with toasted sunflower seeds. Serve with fresh basil.
