Cod Fillets

Cod fillets for a delicious dinner.


  • Cod fillets: 6 small pieces
  • Milk: 1/2 cup
  • Sparkling water: 1/2 cup
  • All-purpose flour: 3/4 cup
  • Egg: 1 piece
  • Seasoning blend: to taste
  • Ground herb pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Rapeseed oil: as needed
  • Sauerkraut: 200 g
  • Green cucumber: 1/2 piece
  • Sugar: to taste
  • Black pepper: to taste
  • Rapeseed oil: 2 tablespoons


  1. In a bowl, mix milk, sparkling water, egg, seasoning blend, and flour well with a whisk.
  2. Dip rinsed cod fillets into the batter, ensuring they are well coated, and set aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Fry the cod fillets in hot oil.
  4. Mix sauerkraut well with the listed ingredients: grated cucumber, pepper, sugar, oil, and chopped onion.
  5. Place the fried fillets on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  6. Serve the fillets with coleslaw and mashed potatoes.
