Marinated and baked in the oven, these ribs bring a grill-like atmosphere that you can enjoy all year round!
Ingredients
- Onion – 2 pieces
- Ground chili – 0.5 teaspoon
- Ketchup – 380 g
- Bay leaf – 1 piece
- Honey – 3 tablespoons
- Sunflower oil – 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper – 1 pinch
- Whole black peppercorns – 2 pieces
- Salt – 1 tablespoon
- Salt – 1 pinch
- Soy sauce – 4 tablespoons
- Allspice – 2 pieces
- Pork ribs, fresh – 1 kg
Preparation
Place the ribs in cold water, add bay leaf, whole black peppercorns, allspice, and one tablespoon of salt. Bring to a boil and cook for about 20 minutes. Remove the meat from the broth, let it cool (you can use the broth for soup, for example).
Prepare the marinade. Chop the onion and sauté it in heated sunflower oil until translucent. In a large bowl, mix honey, ketchup, cooled onions, and spices. Add the cooled ribs to the marinade and mix so that each piece of meat is coated with marinade. Leave in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Then remove the meat onto a baking sheet and place it in the oven. Bake until the ribs are browned, about 1.2-1.5 hours.
