Puff Pastry Spinach Swirls

A savory French snack with spinach. You must try it.


  • Puff pastry: 1 package
  • Frozen spinach: 450 grams (or fresh)
  • Feta cheese: 130 grams
  • Garlic: 2-3 cloves
  • Cream (18%): 2 tablespoons
  • Cheese: 1 (grated)


Sauté the spinach in a pan, allowing the water to evaporate. Add the crushed garlic and crumbled feta, and mix thoroughly to combine. Add the cream and grated cheese, mixing again to combine. Let the spinach mixture cool to a lukewarm temperature.

Unroll the puff pastry (large sheet, 375 grams – 50×26 cm), spread the spinach mixture over it, roll it into a log, and slice into pieces about 1-1.5 cm thick. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius for about 15-20 minutes until the swirls are nicely browned.
