Ingredients

  • Plums, 500 g
  • All-purpose flour, 350 g
  • Butter, 260 g
  • Sugar, 240 g
  • Eggs, 5
  • Cinnamon, 3.5 g
  • Baking powder, 4 g
  • Powdered sugar, 4 g
  • Vanilla extract, 2 g

Crumble Topping

  • All-purpose flour, 125 g
  • Sugar, 60 g
  • Butter, 60 g

Preparation

Cake:

Step 1: Cream Butter with Sugar and Eggs In a large bowl, place the butter and add 180 g of sugar. Beat the ingredients until smooth and fluffy. Add vanilla extract to the mixture and mix well. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Step 2: Add Flour Gradually add all the flour and baking powder to the mixture, stirring continuously.

Step 3: Roll out the Dough Shape the dough into a ball and roll it out into a rectangle. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, then place the rolled-out dough onto it. Set the dough aside and proceed to make the crumble topping.

Crumble Topping:

Step 1: Combine Ingredients In a bowl, combine the flour and sugar. Cut the butter into small cubes and add it to the rest of the ingredients.

Step 2: Mix the Ingredients Using clean hands, rub the butter between your fingers until it combines with the flour and sugar, forming a fine, crumbly mixture.

Step 3: Prepare the Plums Wash and dry the plums, then halve them and remove the pits.

Step 4: Arrange Plums on the Dough Arrange the plums on top of the dough with the cut side facing upwards, then sprinkle them with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

Step 5: Sprinkle with Crumble Topping Sprinkle the plum cake with the crumble topping, covering the entire surface.

Step 6: Bake the Cake Place the baking tray in the oven for 35 minutes. Bake until the cake turns golden brown.

Step 7: Cool the Cake Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool. Before serving, dust it with powdered sugar.
