Munster Cheese Soufflés

Soufflés with a béchamel cheese sauce are a great idea for a delicious Saturday breakfast. The intense aroma of Munster cheese gives them a unique flavor and scent. Be sure to try them out!


  • Eggs – 4
  • Butter – 40 g
  • Wheat flour – 50 g
  • Milk – 400 ml
  • Black pepper – a pinch
  • Munster cheese – 100 g
  • Salt – a pinch


  • Butter – 1 tablespoon
  • Wheat flour – 1 tablespoon


Step 1: Prepare the Ramekins Grease the ramekins with butter and dust with flour, then refrigerate.

Separate the egg whites from the yolks.

Step 2: Prepare the Béchamel Sauce Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour, and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add cold milk. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly until a smooth sauce forms. Then reduce the heat to low, add the finely diced Munster cheese and egg yolks. Mix well until the mixture is smooth and the cheese melts. Remove from heat.

Step 3: Beat the Egg Whites Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the béchamel-cheese mixture. Remove the ramekins from the refrigerator.

Step 4: Bake the Soufflés Pour the prepared mixture into the ramekins, place in the oven, and bake for 20 minutes.
