Grilled Texan Burger

Juicy homemade burgers served with fresh lettuce leaves, tomato, and crispy buns will delight meat lovers!


  • Red bell pepper – 0.5 piece
  • Green bell pepper – 0.5 piece
  • Brown sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Breadcrumbs – 4 tablespoons
  • Ground chili – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Spring onion – 1 piece
  • Canned corn – 140 g
  • Ground pork – 1 kg
  • Olive oil – 3 tablespoons
  • Black pepper – a pinch
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Parsley – 3 tablespoons


In a bowl, combine 1 kg of ground pork with 1/2 can of drained corn (strained), 1 teaspoon of brown sugar, finely diced 1/2 red bell pepper, 1/2 green bell pepper, 1 bunch of finely chopped spring onion, 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley, 1/2 teaspoon of chili, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs. If needed, add an extra tablespoon of breadcrumbs to the mixture.

Shape the mixture into moderately thick patties.

Grill the burgers with olive oil on a grill pan or on a preheated grill for about 3-5 minutes on each side.

Prepare buns or pita bread, ketchup, mustard, and vegetables.

How to Serve

Serve in a bun with vegetables and lettuce, accompanied by ketchup, mustard, or your favorite sauce.
