French Toast with Ice Cream and Fruit Salad

A plethora of flavors, textures, and colors in one dessert! French toasts served with a fruit salad, ice cream, and whipped cream will satisfy your sweet tooth and be a delightful addition to any table.


  • Sugar – 2 tablespoons
  • Powdered sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Eggs – 2
  • Vanilla ice cream – 500 ml
  • Orange marmalade – 2 tablespoons
  • Butter – 2 tablespoons
  • Milk – 100 ml
  • Nectarines – 2
  • Slices of bread – 80 g
  • Pistachios – 20 g
  • Oranges – 2
  • Whipping cream (30% fat) – 150 g
  • White grapes – 150 g


Step 1: Prepare the Fruit Salad Cut the grapes in half, chop the nectarines into pieces, and peel and segment the oranges. Transfer the fruits to a bowl and mix them.

Step 2: Fry the French Toasts Whisk the eggs in a bowl using a whisk or fork. Add milk and mix. Dip slices of bread into the prepared mixture.

Fry the French toasts in batches in a pan with melted butter. Once they are golden brown on one side, flip them over to cook the other side.

Step 3: Prepare the Citrus Sauce Bring the orange marmalade to a boil in a saucepan with a little water. Set aside to cool.

Step 4: Serve the French Toasts Serve scoops of vanilla ice cream on the French toasts along with the fruit salad. Serve whipped cream in a separate bowl. Garnish the toasts with the citrus sauce and chopped pistachios on top. Dust with powdered sugar sifted through a sieve.
