A simple recipe for sweetness straight from French restaurants.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry (300 g)
- Plum jam (100 g)
- Hazelnuts (80 g)
- Milk chocolate (40 g)
- Egg white (1 piece)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry gently into a circle and cut into triangles (like a cake).
- The size depends on how large you want the croissants to be (I made 8 larger ones).
- Finely chop the chocolate.
- Toast the hazelnuts in a pan and also chop them.
- Add plum jam and mix everything together thoroughly.
- Spoon the mixture onto the puff pastry in portions and gently roll up the croissants (make sure to seal the corners tightly).
- Brush with beaten egg white and bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar!
