French Cheese Crescents

Crescents with cottage cheese are a very simple dessert that you can prepare in no time. They can be a great alternative to yeast rolls with white cheese, but without the need for kneading yeast dough and long waiting times. Be sure to try them!



  • Puff pastry (1 package)


  • Cottage cheese (250 grams)
  • Egg yolk (1 piece)
  • Sugar (2 tablespoons)


  • Egg white (1 piece)
  • Sugar (1-2 tablespoons)


  1. Cut the puff pastry into 6 large squares. Make 2-3 cuts in one corner.
  2. Transfer the cottage cheese to a bowl, add sugar and egg yolk, mix thoroughly.
  3. Spread the filling on half of the dough, cover with the cut corner, and seal.
  4. Brush the top of the dough with beaten egg white, sprinkle with sugar.
  5. Place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius and bake for about 20-25 minutes.

Cool on a wire rack.
